#UGM is moving to indymedia (yay!).

New services include nickserv an ssl (yay!)

Pretty much everything else stays the same.

Point your client at irc.indymedia.org #UGM and we'll see you there. More changes coming soon to a forum near you (namely - this one).

jinx.

indymedia in their infinite wisdom only seems to allow one port. That is the default 6667. So places that don't allow that port out, won't be able to connect. That is going to limit a number of people (myself included).

n=1; for i in 'treble' 'bass'; do echo $n for the $i; ((n++)); done

I thought that the standard if you are using SSL is 7000. Perhaps if you turn on SSL it'll work :P

EDIT: irc.indymedia.org 6697 for SSL You ned to set xchat to accept invalid certificates too.

LMAO. I totally forgot who vaccine is. Maybe you should post more, stranger.

And Stefanovich, I joined the day after you did. Weird. :-|

Is this new server only accessible on SSL?

The join date for both of use is wrong. Do you remember the forums went down (Was that the same time we got hacked? )and we all had to sign up again. I was here for I'd say 6 months before that happened.

Just cause some of us who have been here for a while don't post, doesnt mean we arent lurking around.. ~shifty eyes ~ lol,
Win·dows Noun. A thirty-two bit extension and graphical shell to a sixteen-bit patch to an eight-bit operating system originally coded for a four-bit microprocessor which was written by a two-bit company that can't stand one bit of competition.

That would... probably explain why nobody was in the channel on the other server.
